Players can face new Lair Bosses categorized into Initiate, Greater, and Exalted tiers, with Belial as the new permanent Exalted Lair Boss. Defeating any Lair Boss offers a chance to fight Belial in his strongest form.
The update adds 24 Boss Powers that can be combined in up to 48 ways by applying modifiers, offering more customization and combat variety. Players can also participate in fast-paced Apparition Incursion events to earn Boss Powers by defeating waves of enemies under time pressure.
The Season Journey has been updated with a new feline companion named Iris, who rewards players based on their accomplishments. The fixed progression Battle Pass has been replaced by the Reliquary system, which features themed reward tracks (Weapon, Beast, Armor) for both free and premium players. Additional event Reliquaries will be available during special milestones and collaborations.
Players can purchase Premium Battle Pass Reliquaries individually or as a Bundle, with the Deluxe Battle Pass Bundle providing access to all premium content plus bonus cosmetics like armor sets, wings, and a pet owl.
Belial and Lair Bosses
The Boss Ladder has undergone a transformation, now grouping endgame bosses into tiered categories known as Lair Bosses. These fearsome foes can be challenged directly through teleportation in Torment difficulty and above:
- Initiate Lair Bosses: Varshan, Grigoire, Beast in the Ice, Lord Zir, Urivar
- Greater Lair Bosses: Duriel, Andariel, Harbinger of Hatred
- Exalted Lair Bosses: Belial, Lord of Lies
