Google Vids being launched as Google Workspace core service

Dear administrator,

We’re writing to inform you that Google Vids, our AI-powered video creation application, will soon be included as a core service in your qualifying Google Workspace subscriptions.

We’ve provided additional information below to guide you through this change.

What this means for your organization​

As early as April 29, 2025, Google Vids will start rolling out to users in your organization with the following Google Workspace subscriptions:

• Google Workspace Business Starter
• Google Workspace Enterprise Starter
• Google Workspace for Nonprofits

This is in addition to Google Workspace editions, where Google Vids is already available as a core Workspace service.

Key changes:​

Here are the some of the key changes resulting from this change for users accessing Google Vids with the above mentioned Google Workspace subscriptions:

• Google Vids will be covered under your existing Google Workspace agreement and will receive the same technical support as other Google Workspace Services.
• Your users will have full access to generative AI features in Google Vids for 12 months. These features include “Help me create,” AI voiceovers, read-along teleprompter, along with features such as “Generate a video” that were recently announced at Google Cloud Next 2025.
• Access to these Generative AI features may be limited after the initial period. We’ll notify you of any changes before they take effect.

What you need to do​

No action is required from you to access Google Vids after this change is implemented.
