SpaceX Falcon 9 with Crew Dragon Freedom spacecraft has successfully launched NASA's Crew-9 astronauts to the International Space Station from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral.Following stage separation, the booster successfully landed on Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The astronauts currently on the Crew 9 mission will return in February 2025, along with the other astronauts who were stranded on June 6.
NASA, which usually carries four astronauts, removed two astronauts from this mission in order to bring the other stranded astronauts.
