HoloTile uses spinning tiles to imitate realistic movement in VR without users having to leave the floor space. Collaborative VR sightseeing, games, training, and other applications with natural walking motion can be experienced through the surface. According to Smoot, HoloTile has a lot of potential at Disney’s parks and venues. It can be used as a stage insert for new and exciting dance performances or for making dynamic set changes.
