AMD has unveiled the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, a new processor with 16 cores and Zen 5 architecture that includes 3D V-Cache. According to AMD, there is an average performance boost of eight percent over the Ryzen 9 7950X3D. This new CPU can achieve a top boost frequency of 5.7GHz and has a total cache size of 144MB. AMD states that it is 20% faster on average than Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285K. It shows an even greater performance boost in content creation, being up to 13% faster than the Ryzen 9 7950X3D.

AMD revealed the Ryzen 9 9900X3D, a 12-core processor with 3D V-Cache. It features 24 threads, can boost up to 5.5GHz, and has a total cache of 140MB. The TDP for this model is set at 120W, compared to the Ryzen 9 9950X’s TDP of 170W.
