AMD is still releasing drivers for the vega and polaris series that AMD supposedly stopped supporting

They probably only relasing "maintenance" updates. All of hardware features you can serve with those cards already implemented to drivers. They will not get any "feature" updates. NVIDIA does same thing; Although NVIDIA stopped adding new features to Kepler and Fermi architectures but they still maintaning old drivers for Fermi(390 version) and Kepler(470 version) for security breaches and critical bugs.

It is clear that NVIDIA'n has ended support. Unfortunately, there is no such clarity on the AMD side. They are still releasing performance updates for the RX 580...
